Alhamdulillah, Al-Murtaza Islamic Academy – Delhi successfully inaugurated its new batch of the “Mominah Course for Women” on Saturday, 26 July 2025, in a spiritually enriching and well-organized online session.
The course is designed to empower women with sound Islamic knowledge and practical guidance in matters of faith, education, and life challenges. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from women across India.
The program began with a soulful recitation of the Qur'an, setting a serene and spiritual tone for the evening.
This was followed by a heartfelt recitation of Naat in praise of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, touching the hearts of all participants.
The session featured a meaningful message by Hazrat Maulana Mahmood Ahmad Qasmi Bastawi, Head of Al-Murtaza Islamic Academy. In his words, he highlighted the importance of structured Islamic education for women and emphasized the need for spiritual and intellectual training in today’s challenging times.
The guest of honor, Dr. Asma Zehra — a renowned Islamic scholar and President of the Women’s Wing – All India Muslim Personal Law Board — delivered an inspiring talk. She elaborated on the status and honor of women in Islam, and highlighted the historical and contemporary contributions of women to Islamic scholarship. Her address was both enlightening and empowering.
The program concluded with a warm vote of thanks by Madam Bint-e-Qutbuddin, senior instructor and trainer at the academy. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed guests, speakers, participants, and the academy's team. She also expressed hope that this course would serve as a beacon of knowledge and guidance for women.
